Rod Out:
After the radiator is disassembled, the most common procedure to unclog a restricted radiator internally, is to insert a steel rod tool thru every tube on the core to ensure no water flow restrictions. This procedure is done to all radiators in general. Afterwards, the radiator is assembled, pressure tested, inspected and repaired as needed. Finally the radiator is stamped for warranty and painted.
Steam Clean:
Steam clean is the process of cleaning your radiator internally and externally to remove dirt, oil, grease, or any other debris.
Flush:
The radiator is cleaned internally by using a powerful flush gun.
Radiator Pressure Test:
When the source of the leak is not visible at first sight we perform a radiator pressure test to know exactly where the leak is. A radiator pressure test will pin point the leak for the repair procedure.
Recore:
If after pressure testing, we find that the radiator core is too weak to hold up under normal operating conditions or it has been damaged beyond repair, a new core must be installed.
Rebuilt:
Rebuilt is when a radiator needs a good cleaning and total reconstruction which includes: Cleaning, reinforcing, testing and repairing. This service includes a 30 to 90 day warranty.
